W: Remote address not found, connecting to configured address/port: 127.0.0.1:9000. I am very often getting Waiting for Connection, even though xdebugclient and xdebug appear to work well in terminal on Mac. I do think that there is an issue with Netbeans connecting properly to XDebug. Zend_extension="/mampstack/php/lib/php/extensions/xdebug.so" I am presuming that something in my script in php kills xdebug, and that it is not a netbeans problem really, and that it is really the 'bind: couldn't bind AF_INET socket?' message getting back to netbeans and causing netbeans to lock up. When I run the same script on the command line, I can get it to operate easily, and then: Then restart apache and netbeans, and XDebug works again, SOMETIMES I then restart Netbeans - XDebug Waiting for Connection stays on. This may indicate that NetBeans is the issue, but I can't tell. and XDebug seems to have stoppend in Netbeans, even though this is the only indication.īUT, then I push Stop on Debug session, and: (I leave script above active in NetBeans - I Do not push STOP on debug session)īUT I get message in Netbeans: Xdebug Waiting for connection message Then I do a debug in Netbeans (this was traced with prints)Ĭli mode: In: &drupal_register_shutdown_functionĬli mode: Shutting Down in _drupal_shutdown_function Is their anything else i need to configure to allow xdebug to connect to my Homestead Vagrant VM When i try to debug now i just get the xdebug waiting for. Unable to bind - Error: Address already in use PHP Warning: socket_bind(): unable to bind address : Address already in use in /mampstack/test_xdebug.php on line 5 "/mampstack/php/bin/php" "/mampstack/test_xdebug.php" Port Scanning host: 127.0.0.1 Open TCP Port: 9000 cslistener I can debug using XDebug on simple Test_XDebug and complex scripts, It appears that the real problem occurs when the debugged task reaches a self-imposed termination from an exception, but this seems rather normal. Netbeans 7.4 does suffer same issue as far as my testing shows. There is no connection on port 9000 (no listener or sender) after failure.įollowing is testing on Netbeans 8.0. I downgraded to test, installing 2.2.3, and have the same behavior. PHP Version 5.4.26 from Bitnami Mampstack, Xdebug v2.2.4.

I would say it might be a good idea to move to WAMPServer 3.0.8 as I am guessing you are using WAMPServer 2.5 maybe It would also be useful of you answered the Sticky Post READ (and answer) BEFORE YOU ASK A QUESTION So we can know what versions of everything you are using. So it lives in the PHP folder for a good reason Remember WAMPServer can have and does in a couplle of recent installs more than one versionof PHP and the dll for XDEBUG can be PHP version specific. That can be a XML or JSON or fields from a form. ' 3 - Open POSTman APP and set the body with the information that will be sent through the request HTTP POST. Your version of PHP may be different so check the php7.0.4 part of the path. 2 - Start a debug process in NetBeans > rigth click over the project name and choose Debug 2 - At the botton in the NetBeans window we will see 'Waiting for connection (netbeans-xdebug).
